DESCRIPTION
Befresh™ AF is a starter culture of Lactobacillus Paracasei and Propionibacterium freudenreichii sub spp. shermanii with antifungal properties in fresh fermented milk and cheese products.

REGULATIONS
Befresh™ AF meets the QPS specification laid down by the EU legislation. Label food regulations should always be consulted concerning the status of this product. It is recommended to use it after ensuring compliance with your local regulations.
 

 

YOGURT
Yogurt has a very short shelf-life due to their microbiological changes especially caused by yeasts and molds, which yeasts can cause “late-blowing”, off-flavors and off-odors, and molds can cause highly visible and pigmented growth.
 
Yogurt made with Befresh™ AF were held for 60 days at 5°C, the yeasts and molds can be significantly inhibited.
