Canned foods shelf-life may be limited by the growth of Gram-positive thermophilic bacterial spores belonging to Clostridia and Bacillus spp. Also, canned chopped meat, canned corned beef and other canned products may favor the growth of molds. 

 

NisinA® and NisinZ® are effective in control the growth of spoilage and pathogenic Gram+bacteria. Natap® is effective to control mold growth in such products.
